The Department of Sociology , Green University of Bangladesh, organized a seminar on 'Integrating Service Learning and a Multidisciplinary Approach in Social Science Curriculum in Higher Education.'

The Seminar speaker, Prof. Iftekhar Amin, Ph.D., Professor at the University of North Texas, Dallas, shared his invaluable knowledge and experiences in Sociology. He highlighted the importance of applying sociological studies with a focus on community engagement and interdisciplinary research for building a more sustainable society. His expertise in aging and sustainable community building provided insightful perspectives on how interdisciplinary collaboration can contribute to the welfare of society.

The event was graced by the presence of the Prof. Dr. Khawza Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Green University of Bangladesh as the Special Guest and the Session Host was Prof. Dr. Abul Hossain, Chairperson, Department of Sociology & Anthropology, Green University of Bangladesh. Students actively participated in the discussion, engaging with Prof. Amin and sharing their thoughts on the subject.
