Dear Colleagues,

I hope this message finds you well.

We are pleased to share the successful implementation of the "NutriSeeds Distribution for Zero Hunger" program by the Department of Sociology a, Green University of Bangladesh, in collaboration with Charpara Adarsha Bidyaniketan, on 26 December 2024 (Thursday) at 10:00 AM. The event took place at Charpara Adarsha Bidyaniketan, Rupganj, Narayanganj, and marked another step toward promoting Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2: Zero Hunger.

As part of this initiative, 380 seedlings of various vegetables were distributed among children from underprivileged communities and malnourished families. This effort aims to empower families to cultivate nutritious food at home, contributing to improved dietary habits and food security.

The program was implemented with the support of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Green University of Bangladesh. We were honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Abul Hossain, Chairperson of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Green University of Bangladesh, whose inspiring words encouraged all participants. Faculty members and students from our department actively participated, ensuring the program's success.

This initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to societal welfare and sustainable development. We believe this small but meaningful effort will help bring positive change to the lives of the recipients and their families by enabling access to fresh, home-grown vegetables.

We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to making this program impactful. Your continued support drives us to keep advancing toward a sustainable and hunger-free society.
